Tribal Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Coalitions

Currently, 20 Tribal Coalitions are recognized by the Office on Violence Against Women.

Tribal Coalitions provide:

-education,

-support

& technical assistance

to member providers, organizations, and communities to establish and maintain culturally appropriate services, including shelter and rape crisis services designed to assist American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian women and the dependents of those women who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Tribal Coalitions are the local and regional tribal experts providing the critically needed and culturally appropriate technical assistance and training services for tribal communities.
