“Description

We will be holding our first Gender Justice workshop that focuses on anti-violence work and prevention that protects Native women, children, and gender-expansive relatives in our tribal communities, where we aim to have 20 participants. This workshop will include subjects on the gender-based violence, and approaching it from the understanding of cultivating healthy masculinities and healthy relationships, understanding the importance of intersection of violence for our trans and non-binary relatives and the importance of Indigenous Feminisms. This training will also be delving into issues areas the Coalition has experience with discussing, but we encourage attendance of those who are interested in diving deeper into these areas of, healthy masculinities and gender-based violence!
